For the 2010 Spring Rally, we added the beautiful Bay Point Marriott Golf Resort & Spa as Thunder Beach’s newest major Venue and Title Sponsor. As you ride into this 1,100 acre World-Class Resort, you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to a tropical Caribbean paradise.  However, it’s when you park your scooter and start exploring that you realize what a truly special location this is!  You’ll recognize many familiar faces in the Outside Vendor Village as well as in the spacious 40,000 square foot Convention Center. The Outdoor Main Stage, nestled between the two Vendor Villages, ties together this intimate, yet spacious new venue. The Main Stage will host lots of great live music, contests and about 15 of the most stunning vixens you could ever imagine in the Miss Thunder Beach Pageant finale on Friday evening. Thursday thru Saturday on the Convention Centers Indoor Stage, you will be treated to the very hot “Sizzle” Fashion Contest at 1:00 pm and the “Show Me Your Tats” Tattoo Contest at 4:00 pm.  On Thursday evening the Marriott will host the Thunder Beach VIP Party.

Many of you, whether riders or vendors, will remember our old friend, Rich Law, formerly of the Boardwalk Beach Resort. Rich, who for over 15 years was the Boardwalks Food and Beverage Director, also managed their Entertainment and Special Events.  During the 7 years that Thunder Beach operated a venue there, he was the primary reason why everything always came off without a hitch.  Rich will be joining Thunder Beach this Spring to Manage our new venue at the Marriott. Rich and his wife, Diane, are both avid riders (Diane has her own Harley) and are huge Thunder Beach enthusiasts.  Rich has already started putting together the plans that will make the transition to the Marriott Resort go as smooth as silk.  He will be on site throughout the Rally, so be sure to say hello.
